I like this shopping channel, lot better than mainstream shopping channels.

I'm not a fan of the battery design. It's integrated into the AC unit, so you have to charge it along with the AC. Plus, the unit is far too heavy to be labeled "portable".

Personally I think dethatching actually encourages weed growth because it disturbs the soil and brings weed seeds to the surface to germinate. The lawn's thatch layer also works like mulch in terms of weed suppression and thinning/removing it allows places for weeds to sprout. I don't use herbicide on my lawn and notice pretty healthy weed blooms after dethatching in autumn. I still do it when I overseed so there is better seed to soil contact for the grass seed to germinate (along with the dandelions lol.)

Not an awful price for its packaging and features. However if it is going to be primarily stationary, might be better to get a traditional heat pump. You can get a full ton of cooling (12000 btu) for about that price if you can DIY. This is pretty neat though. I'd love to get a heat pump installed for my garage someday. 1 ton would be plenty just to keep it ~10F below OAT in the summer and above freezing in the winter. My electric heater could then just bump on when the HP can't keep up.

Lol. Furnace filter discussions are like motor oil arguments. Which is better? Nobody knows but everybody has an opinion. My hvac guy said the cheapies I have been using are not good and to use the pleated more expensive ones. Lenox recommends Merv 10 or higher and he left me with Merv12s. So I’ll just take the manufactures recommendation and pay the extra $ I guess.

You can run Romex in liquid conduit outside and it isn't an issue except for the "Code Nazis" which can go screw themselves because they have NO say in the matter about what I can & can't do. Plus, I have over 30+ years of real-world experience so I know what works and what doesn't 😈 Just so you know, pulling Romex through liquid conduit is a nightmare but will keep it from falling apart due to exposure to UV & weather. I've seen regular NM-B installed outside before and usually takes about 20+ years for it to start falling apart hence the reason some people paint it to further its lifespan which I don't recommend trying 😉 NM-B (Yellow) UF-B [NM-C] (Gray) If the application isn't burial, I've found extension cord holds up better over time and makes for a much nicer install. Just make sure you size the extension cord correctly (wire amp rating) to your particular application and never exceed 80% of it's max capacity. If it is burial, UF-B inside electrical PVC will save you a headache down the road especially when some idiot with a shovel or trenching equipment comes along 😊

So question... I have an RTT, if its 100°F outside or 90° at night, could 5100 btu cool the tent to 70° F for comfortable sleeping conditions?? Or would I have issues keeping the tent 20 degrees below ambient temp??

I bought this mower HRX 217 Honda five years ago, it sold for $800. First problem it would not start and run normally. Honda replaced the carburetor. Four years ago the drive gear in the RH wheel broke. i repaired that with a new gear and some other parts. Now it will not cut grass the blade slips under a normal load. I am thinking to remove the mulch blade and use only the grass cutting blade. Hopefully this will work and at least let me cut the lawn. The machine is poorly designed especially for a HONDA mower. I regret to say this is a disgusting mower. DO NOT BUY THIS MOWER.

There is a lot of hype around these portable heat pumps but I'd save your money until they evolve into separating the condenser so it's back outside like it's supposed to be, with an easy way to connect/disconnect it. I know this EcoFlow works but it's quite bulky in the smaller spaces it's designed for and it does fight itself, even if it's less than other brands.

My house was built in 1962 and I bought it in 2000. There are no GFCI breakers or outlets including the basement. Never had a problem. Someone even ran 14/2 wire through a 1/2" metal conduit to three outlets along a brick wall in the basement and no problem.

Just wanted to add. After watching this video I purchased the fertilizer and treated all of my grass 2 weeks ago. Update to now I truly have never seen my grass as healthy and green and full as it is. I’ve done nothing different other than that fertilizer. Thanks !

Electrical engineer here. You don't even need to show how the outlet is wired, the fact that you connected two points of nearly identical voltage means there's not going to be any power flow across it.
